LaTasha Carpenter better known as Your Girl Tasha (YGT) was born in DC; raised out of Temple Hills, Maryland where she graduated from Crossland High School. Your Girl Tasha has always had within her, an entrepreneurial spirit and a Huge passion to help others. 

The name Your Girl Tasha derived from her life experience she faced in 2016. Experiences such as being in a 20-year marriage that ended in divorce, overcoming her fears and learning to lead a life as a single mother led to the rebirth of an authentic, inspirational and energetic woman. That same year of her divorce; she managed to lift herself up by launching a International Health and Wellness business in Network Marketing. During 2017, while working a full-time job and managing to run her own business she gained the attention of one of DMV’s popular networks WBGR Entertainment.  Later landing her in the studio with her own live show called “Hanging With Your Girl Tasha.” By bringing her own twist to the network she became a well-known and respected public figure in the eyes of many. Subsequently, through hard work and perseverance. She became a Platinum Leader in a company called Vida Divina, meaning (Divine Life). Which allowed her to retire from Verizon at the age of 48.

In 2021 she partnered with Founders of Zolef Entertainment. She has incorporated a second entity that entails performing mobile interviews with Zolef Ent Magazine while bringing a whole new twist of her own in the entertainment world.

YGT loves spending time giving back to the community in various ways. She has even launched from underneath her umbrella a powerful event held for women called “Body Love.” A conference held annually focusing on uplifting and inspiring women. As well as partnering with various groups and organizations servicing individuals in homeless shelters and at encampments.
